Dr. Robert Redmon adjusting a patient
What to Expect on Your First Visit

Your first visit will include an interview and examination by Dr. Redmon followed by an Activator adjustment. The Activator technique allows for quick and precise adjustments that cause little or no discomfort.

During the following two days, you may feel better, you may be sore, even feel a little worse, or notice no change at all – these are all normal reactions as your body adjusts.

The number of treatments prescribed depends upon your unique situation. Dr. Redmon will keep you well informed about your condition and will schedule you for treatment only as often as he feels you need to be seen. However, if you feel worse or if you have a new problem, please contact the office.

To Prepare for Your First Visit

  • Wear comfortable clothing and secure shoes.
  • Bring photo identification and your insurance card, if applicable.
  • Arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to complete new patient forms.

Dr. Redmon is a provider for Medicare and most insurance plans that offer chiropractic care. Patients without chiropractic insurance are also welcomed.

Most job-related injuries require a referral from your employer’s workers compensation insurance company. Dr. Redmon is a panel provider for State Comp Insurance, the largest workers compensation carrier in the state of California.

Because insurance policies change frequently, we recommend verifying your coverage before your appointment. Please note that if you have an HMO plan, you may need a referral prior to treatment.
